Obama Rally!

The part of the Obama rally that stands out the most to me is how bloody organized the entire affair managed to be. When I walked through the security checkpoint, the first thing that happened was a volunteer telling me I could early vote that day and I could do it anywhere. I was told that three more times before I even got to my seat. Once in my seat I chatted with the people around me, most of them knew about the early voting and had already voted. Even though the polls had only been open around 5 hours at this point. After waiting for an eternity for everyone to finish getting through security, the rally began. During the opening part, 3 of Obama’s volunteers came out and explained the early voting again and explained the caucus multiple times. Even once in Spanish. Then Obama came out and did his speech and Q&A. He managed to mention the early voting and the caucus and how he needs us to win.

That was a big component of every speech given, that he needed everyone’s help and time to win and that if he won it was because of the people. On my way out of the speech (after shaking his hand) I was told no less than 4 times about early voting, the cause and people asking if I wanted to or had signed up to volunteer.  You would have been very lucky to get through the whole thing without knowing about how the caucus worked or early voting. This is why he is doing so well in every state, his ability to organize and get volunteers.
